Your Royal Highnesses have put me in a state! All I can think about is chicken, salmon, yogurt, bacon, turkey, liver, moo cow straight from my beloved Daddy's grill or even from a can....

Perhaps we can share some of our mooching techniques? Of course, we can purr and purr about our favorite dishes. And what, my Fellow Regals, have you mooched and ended up playing with or just staring at instead of eating?

Speaking of food. Did you notice the ad just below your last post, Sister? It's called Genuine BARF Pet Food? This is supposed to lure me to their site.............why?
Since I am already here, I will share some titillating Princess Pooter mooch advice!
When dealing with humans, always keep in mind, they are lesser beings that us, and therefore have to be handled accordingly. Least they get the idea that they have us figured out, silly humans, it is always advisable to occasionally throw them a curved paw. By this I mean, keep them confused! For example: Sit at usual mooch post and beg prettily for a bite. When they share, stare at the offered mooch as if they have just placed a pile of bird poop down in front of you, (this next part is crucial) tip your Royal head back, sniff the air as if you have just received a smelly scent, turn your back on them and over your shoulder, give them the best "You may not feed me" look you can muster and finish with a regal walk out of the room.

Excellent tip Princess Pooter. Unfortunately I cannot leave the room or they will give my hard earned nibbles to Ashley.

My beloved Daddy somehow ignores my cuteness so I have resorted to mooching from Mom. I begin by sitting next to her with my most adorable expression. I sigh. I fidget a bit. I pet her arm. When those fail, I lick her elbow. I will NOT be ignored! And Mom and Dad actually reward me because they think it's cute.

This time around I finally got that "barf" advertisement. Curiosity got the best of me - what else would you expect from a cat? According to the website ....

BARF is an acronym for Biologically Appropriate Raw Food and also stands for Bones And Raw Food.

Still....mew! That is gruesome. Especially since it's in our FOOD thread. Mew mew mew!

That's just gross. Give me chicken any day. I think I'd rather eat yogart than that stuff.
Tonight's mooch menu: Hamburger Helper/Meat & Pasta.
MMMMMMMM good.

Princess P, do tell, how was the mooch food? Tonight's menu here is tender moo cow, baked potatoes and salad. Why would I care? Because with the potatoes and salad come CHEESE! Cheese and beef, I will be busy tonight.

Purrrrrrr

Just about everything would be a mooch food for me, but my "mom" rarely lets me enjoy. She does share things she grills, like chicken, steak and lamb chops. I have been know to just take some delectable tidbit if I really want it. For example, I just grabbed a bite of French Toast because I wanted it, and once I just removed a hunk of Sesame Chicken from Mom's plate. I know, royalty should be served, but every once in awhile, a queen must take for herself.

Hello Lovely Royals. I believe it is proper to call ladys and gents lovely.
Oh yes, I was supposed to tell you about Mooch. There are just so many important thoughts running through my pretty head that occasionally when I make a side trip, I forget where I was originally.
Back on track now.
My Hamber Helper Mooch was wonderful. Today I mooched hamburger (the kind on the fat round bread) from Mommy. Daddy has been very busy today and he gobbled his hamburger up so fast I didn't even have time to beg prettily. Not to worry, there will be other days and other mooch. I have no fear that I will loose my mooch expertise as my Mommy & Daddy almost always remember to share with me. If they don't I either screech at them or turn my back on them to let them know of my disapproval.

Mom baked some nice talapia and mahi the other day. I weaved in and out of her legs, purring and rubbing and really smoozing. She ignored me at first, but, if anything, I am persistent! She sat down at the table to eat...BEFORE offering me anything I might add (she is so uncouth)...so I had to head butt her. She finally put one tiny morsel on the floor. I inspected it and ate it. She fell right into my trap. After I ate the tiny morsel she offered, she then placed a larger piece on the floor....where I tapped it around a few times...raised my rump, turned my back and walked away...leaving the lump of fish on the floor for her to clean up! HA HA HA HA HA....purrrrrssss
