I am the carer of 7 cats 3 females and 4 males. They live together quite happily, okay sometimes there is little jealousy, but considering these were all strays that i adopted at different times in their lives, I think that i have a pretty happy household. About 6 months ago I my old cat who was 24yrs old and boss of the household, died. I was really upset, and only just coming to terms with it. It did not seem to affect the others, as they were not close to him anyway. I have a 4yr old female who i took in at 5months old, and she has always been fiesty, and even though she is smaller than the others, she has always attacked them. She just throws herself at them and knocks them over. I have always thought that she just wants to play but is very rought. She never seems to keep up the attack and usually ends up with a mouthfull of fur. Just after my old cat passed away, i started seeing small pools of urine in the bathroom, i thought it was one of my male cats, but to my absolute amazement, i saw her spraying just as a male cat does. She doesnt like the other cats much just tolerates them, but she loves humans, and will go to any lengths to get your attention. I thought that this is what she was trying to do. That was over 6months ago and i cant seem to stop her doing it, she has now moved to the living room. The funny thing is there is no smell. In the bathroom there was definately that tang of urine, but now unless you see her do it, you would never know.I do use a product that is supposed to take the smell away, but i dont think that is working as she has gone back to the same spots to do it again it is so unusual and i have never heard of it before. Advice anybody.shrugnaughty

Oh my cat, that is a tough one. Smokey Joe used to spray and she was Female also. From what you describe, you may be very stressed and scared. But I am not a Doctor cat. mol and Meowma is not a Vet.
Meowma uses a concentrated product called
SSSĀ® Enzyme Deodorant - Qt., Spring Green
This is where she gets it from,http://www.gemsupply.net/, (the place is not far from our home, kinda up the road.mol)
and this is the product,http://catalog.gemsupply.net/p/SSS-11031/SSS__Enzyme_Deodora nt_-_Qt.__Spring_Green/
It is used just like the stuff you find at the pet stores, but it is concentrated and you can make it as strong as you want.
Meowma has seen a product on Face Book called "Calming Collar".
The Lady makes them by hand with different herbs that may help calm you down. Some of the other cats here know the Woman I am talking about. There are a few other things that you can get, that need to plug in. So I wish you the best of luck and please let us know what you find that works for you! hug We are all so sorry for the loss of your 24 yr old Kitty Pal.
