|There are times there is no easy answer....Alex, you are our angel...Gus....you don't know Alex as we do, please don't be angry and upset..... and with this....it's a hard call. I don't think it was a good idea for Meow to travel but we understand why the shelter was doing it, it was to bring awareness to Meow, and to help him and other homeless animals. That this happened was perhaps a poor choice to have him travel...and a very tragic one people who loved Meow will not soon forget. Sometimes things happen for a reason we can't see, my friends. Sadly.
Meow's story was very sad, and is a very clear and good example, too, of proper care of we, who depend on our people to guard us and care for us. I believe that Meow's Guardian did her best...
That said, please, folks, be aware that taking on one of us is a lifelong commmittment. Please make provisions to have us cared for in the event of your passing before us. There are attorney's who can advise on this, because Meow wound up in the situation he did...homeless....because his guardian passed away and her mother, elderly, did not believe her other daughter would return to take Meow and the other animals. One of Meow's canine brothers was put to sleep in the Roswell shelter because he was old. The other who was a poodle got a home with a niece.
That Meow the Mellow got noticed and saved is a miracle...and miracles do happen.
Meow was saved, and was in a foster home where he was loved.
he knew care, love and compassion.
He wasn't unloved...and for us, my dears, being loved...and loving....we all have our own legacies to leave...and Meow's was love...and bringing awareness to the importance of many things..
we love you Alex...and we know you will meet Meow at the escalator to Rainbow and show him around...
with love always,
