 | | | | I saw Bump yesterday morning. It was not a flash out of the corner of my eye, it was not in a fog. I mean, I saw him, clear as day, just like, he was really there.
I was in the bathroom, Cowboy was sitting at my feet, as he does every morning, and I saw a LH red cat, run past the door, and down the hallway.
Gotta be Cruiser, chasing Smokey or Prowler, as he does most mornings.
I looked up, and there was Cruiser, sitting on the table, cleaning himself, and Smokey was under the table, and Prowler was on the desk. It was Bump I saw. Clear as day. I think it was his way of telling me, he is OK. My vet said it might happen. She said other people have seen their kitties, as a flash, out of the corner of their eye. This was not a flash, I saw him as clearly, as I see this screen.
Monday morning I called pet haven to see if they had Bump yet, nope they didn't. Called the ER vet, they didn't have him either. I said somebody better find him. The ER vet's person was picking up those cats. My theory was, he was in that group, by mistake, and they went and got him.
I called pet haven Tuesday morning, and they said they have him, and, "anonomous friends" paid for his cremation. Just floored me. His ER bill was well over $400 and pretty much wiped me out and I was looking to borrow the money to get him home. Now when he is ready, I can bring him home.
I read everybody's post, thank you so very very much. It made me cry, but it brought me comfort too, to know, Bump has so many caring friends. Thank you for all the gifts, the pawmails, and the candles.
The kittens still have sad little faces, and they still look for him, and look in his carrier. Bump showed me he is OK, I hope he comes to the kittens and tells them too. I still cannot believe, he is gone. | | | | |
