Saying "so long" is always so hard, but harder still when the furchild is so young. Bumpurr knows that he was loved here on Earth and knows that he is loved still. Don't speak of Bumpurr and your love in the past tense; you still love him, he IS loved! He left from your own loving arms, and that is a blessing to you both. So very many cats pass in pain, on their own, with no one to notice or care.

May Bumpurr's Creator comfort you and lead your heart to peace.

I saw this a few days ago and was too shocked at the time to post. We're so so sorry about your beloved Bumpurr (considered beloved by others not his just mom, I think). He was blessed with such a great and caring mom. We've always admired how dedicated mom Lisa is to Bump and her other kitties.

I'm sure Bump knows how lucky he was to have the time he did with his mom and his furblings. Sending caring purrs and support at this difficult time. hug

With love,
Gumpurr and family

Omg! My mom has tears in her eyes. Bumpurr was one of my first friends here on catster. I always looked up to him. Don't worry, he is happy and healthy at the bridge. There are so many kitties waiting for him with open arms, Angel Hanna included. Rest in peace Bumpurr. You will always be loved.

Purrz,
Hunter & Angel Hanna

Lisa, we are all here in tears over the loss of Bumpurr! I know that Tiger was there to give him a big hug of thanks for helping me and mommy! He certinatly is one special kitty and you are a special Mom. Bumpurr was always already an angel in the many eyes that he has helped. We are all very sad over the loss of Bump and have a candle lite for him. I am just in shock to say anything else right now. Just know Tiger is with him.

I am not a frequent poster here...nonetheless, I must say that for "only" five years, Bumpurr made a tremendous impression and left an amazing legacy.

The two of you are a testament to devotion. May Bump's memory warm your heart forever.

I saw Bump yesterday morning. It was not a flash out of the corner of my eye, it was not in a fog. I mean, I saw him, clear as day, just like, he was really there.

I was in the bathroom, Cowboy was sitting at my feet, as he does every morning, and I saw a LH red cat, run past the door, and down the hallway.

Gotta be Cruiser, chasing Smokey or Prowler, as he does most mornings.

I looked up, and there was Cruiser, sitting on the table, cleaning himself, and Smokey was under the table, and Prowler was on the desk. It was Bump I saw. Clear as day. I think it was his way of telling me, he is OK. My vet said it might happen. She said other people have seen their kitties, as a flash, out of the corner of their eye. This was not a flash, I saw him as clearly, as I see this screen.

Monday morning I called pet haven to see if they had Bump yet, nope they didn't. Called the ER vet, they didn't have him either. I said somebody better find him. The ER vet's person was picking up those cats. My theory was, he was in that group, by mistake, and they went and got him.

I called pet haven Tuesday morning, and they said they have him, and, "anonomous friends" paid for his cremation. Just floored me. His ER bill was well over $400 and pretty much wiped me out and I was looking to borrow the money to get him home. Now when he is ready, I can bring him home.

I read everybody's post, thank you so very very much. It made me cry, but it brought me comfort too, to know, Bump has so many caring friends. Thank you for all the gifts, the pawmails, and the candles.

The kittens still have sad little faces, and they still look for him, and look in his carrier. Bump showed me he is OK, I hope he comes to the kittens and tells them too. I still cannot believe, he is gone. cry
