Today I received the bill for Purrcy. It includes the euthanasia and the charge for cremation. On the day I took him in I offered my DEBIT card to cover the cost and I was told that "we will bill you".
The bill I got today includes a finance charge and a billing charge.
Although it is a relatively small amount, I don't understand why they are charging me for this.
When I took my mom's cat last Spring and we had him put to sleep, they took my card and charged me just for the euthanasia and the cremation...I don't get it.

Hi Purrcy, i would call and complain about the bill, unless they told you, or, you signed something that says you were going to get finance and a billing charge, they can not charge you that. Also, ask to talk to something who's in charge or who owns the place. just try to be nice, and go from there. if they have a outside service that does there billing, there might have been a oversite. good luck.

I don't blame you for being annoyed....I would call as well. Husband bought Bella in for B12 today and Cee Cee's ashes are still not back. they changed the company they worked with.

They are clearly getting a mark up. Hmmmph, a finance charge! Thats preposterous!

We agree with Purrcy, speak with the Office Manager, or the vet who owns the practice. Why would they refuse your DEBIT card, say they will bill you, then charge you? Whenever I go to the vet I pay for the services at that time.
