One of our foster cats had kittens about 18 days ago and one of the little ones passed away today. He was having trouble breathing and the vet discovered he had a hernia in his diaphram and his intestines were up in his lungs, giving him less than 25% breathing capacity. Poor little fella didn't have a chance, so he has gone to the Rainbow Bridge. Please say a purr for him tonight and remember all those kitties out there who struggle to survive every day.

So sad, purrs for the poor sweet little kitten. Yes, Daisy you are right, purrs for all of the kitties out there who need homes. My real mom was found pregnant roaming the streets and a lady took her home. If it weren't for that lady, who knows where myself and my sister Alexis would be. We sure wouldn't be here now with the rest of our family!

Purrrrrrrrrrrs for the little guy. He won't have to struggle for breath at the Bridge. He'll be the darling kitten he was meant to be, playing and being cute!

I've never had to struggle for a home or a meal or for love -- I know how fortunate I am. Purrs for all the kitties who aren't as fortunate. Purrs for all the foster moms and dads helping kitties without homes, too. Purrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrs.

You see, a momma cat just came to the Bridge the other day. Her work on earth was done and she was called to the Bridge. But she was so sad . . . . even with all of us here at the Bridge to keep her company. So the little kitten was called to the Bridge and now he is healthy and has no pain. He still needs cuddling so he and momma cat have found each other.

Sweet little kitten had a short and difficult time. He went on his journey having known warm hands, soft voices and love.... Purrs for baby kit and much love and respect for the family who helped him in his life and will remember him beyond the moment.
