We're doing fine. It was almost in the 70's today so we've been out on the front porch most of the day.

Oh, that sounds nice! It was warmer here, too--but not that warm! Mom opened the windows for some fresh air. I wish our apartment had a balcony that we could lounge on.

Mom put the storm window back up on the basement window. In one way it's not so nice 'cause when the screen is on, sitting in the window, we're at ground level and can pretend to sneak up on squirrels and birds at the feeders. But when it's cold outside, the storm window is better -- much warmer. big grin

When Arthur and I were young, we once lived in a garden level apartment where the windowsills were almost level with the ground outside. I agree that can make for a lot of fun nature-watching. kitty

Mom took me this past Wednesday. The problem is almost all the residents have colds and are sniffling. Last month when Mom and Sterling went, Mom came down with a cold the following week and just after the cat show Sterling wasn't feeling well. Dr. Steve said that technically, animals aren't supposed to be able to catch colds from people, but he has seen it. Mom hates not to go to the nursing home, but she doesn't want to constantly have a cold and certainly not for us to catch anything. We may have to stay away for awhile since that cold virus doesn't seem to be leaving the home.
