Anyone know of good places to donate to? or places to volunteer in South Washington

This is a special section for cats needing new homes and for inspiring stories of cats that have found their furever home through Catster or through the love and energy of rescuers. Hey, so I'm just wondering what places you guys know of to donate or that you donate to? I just started donating to ASPCA but I'd like to be able to donate to smaller organizations as well. Like Dogs Deserve better for example.. I know there are scams out there and I don't have a lot I can donate (every bit helps tho, right?). So I'm afraid to just donate anywhere, but I like to help when I can.

also, I'm thinking I want to look into volunteering in the future as well, so if anyone knows good places in the vancouver, wa and portland, or area let me know wink

I'm pretty sure your local animal pound will have good referrals to shelters and other animal organizations in need of donations and volunteers.
Your right every little bit helps and your fantastic for wanting to help out. Good Luck! way to go
