I forgot to mention that if you get the dog PureBites, they're much bigger than the cat ones. I just break off little pieces for Pookie -- it makes the bag last longer. laugh out loud

Another good treat would be raw chicken hearts or gizzards. He loves them, too! cloud 9

Offering freeze-dried food as treats is a great option - all of my cats goes nuts for Whole Life's freeze-dried 100% chicken - and there are a number of options available today with more coming to market all the time.

Because of the negative impact kibble has on feline health, I don't recommend feeding it at all. However, feeding kibble AFTER feeding raw does not have the same implications as feeding kibble BEFORE feeding raw, since raw moves more swiftly through the digestive tract.
