Shortly after, or maybe around the time, that Natasha stopped making/selling the Feline Future premix, we ordered it through the new seller. We were surprised to see that the formula had been changed, by a very high content of calcium (they used bone meal). We contacted them and were told that the formula was balanced. We were also told in the past that their original formula was balanced, so why such a discrepancy in the amount of calcium? Anyway, we tried the new formula but our cats became very constipated, especially our female. We thought maybe she was just adjusting to the new formula, but she continued being constipated.

We then bought from FelineInstincts.com. They use calcium carbonate in their formula, which is not supposed to cause constipation like bone meal can do. We've been using it for a few months now and are very pleased. I too had heard the stories of Natasha and Felice, but every story has 2 sides. I know I just need to feed what's best for my babies.

Two other premixes you can buy are Better In The Raw and Alnutrin. I've never tried either of these shrug
