 | | | | Oh hey, Tambolina, I read a story about a cat that was sick, but that the vet couldn't diagnose. A family member noticed that she was licking the cement stairs and some stones outside. So they asked the vet to test for mineral deficiency. Turns out she was needing some of the trace minerals (salts, magnesium, potassium, sulfides...) that the stones and cement were "expressing". You might notice that after a rain, cement/concrete blocks and steps often develop mineral stains... the water often draws those minerals out.
Also, were you thinking of "Pica"? It's when cats eat fabric.
Anyway, I am the BEER approver in my household. If Mom leaves her beer bottle or glass laying around, I need to inspect the quality, because obviously she isn't drinking it fast enough!
My brother, Pippin, likes to inspect Dad's coffee. He seems to think it needs more cream, or something. | | | | |
