Squeakie is the pickiest eater and doesnt realy like any kind of human food, maybe take a little lick from my boyfriend cereal bowl when he's done....BUT she loves licking the bathroom walls after a shower (she always has fresh water..i don't get why she does this) and eats loose fuzz off the carpet....wierd and gross. I always think she is so clever and sly and smart..then is ee her doing those things and am just like.....yeah.

Squeaky - I forgot about the shower thing. Frodo and Spooky can sit for minutes at a time watching the little puddles after I shower. laugh out loud

Lurch ate the business end of a feather wand.

How about the stuff they WON'T eat??? I bought halibut last night and NO ONE would touch it - not even voracious Lurch or the dog! I opened up a can of sardines (in spring water, no salt), which is normally successful, and they didn't touch that either!

Oh hey, Tambolina, I read a story about a cat that was sick, but that the vet couldn't diagnose. A family member noticed that she was licking the cement stairs and some stones outside. So they asked the vet to test for mineral deficiency. Turns out she was needing some of the trace minerals (salts, magnesium, potassium, sulfides...) that the stones and cement were "expressing". You might notice that after a rain, cement/concrete blocks and steps often develop mineral stains... the water often draws those minerals out.

Also, were you thinking of "Pica"? It's when cats eat fabric.

Anyway, I am the BEER approver in my household. If Mom leaves her beer bottle or glass laying around, I need to inspect the quality, because obviously she isn't drinking it fast enough!

My brother, Pippin, likes to inspect Dad's coffee. He seems to think it needs more cream, or something.

I remember one! When Shelley and Spooky were kittens I put Sticky Paws tape on the sofa. Came back 5 minutes later and Shelley was very happily munching away at it. She really was having a great time. laugh out loud
