The party starts at 6:00 pm CATSTER time and all cats and kittens are invited. There will be a special room for the kittens, with cats looking after them, for anycat who has a little brother or sister they want to bring. But remember, you have to take them home.....MOL...MOL... 	Peter, we will be coming to the party. We are bringing Marigolds and sugar skulls for decorations, as we plan on keeping the party going until Dia De Los Muertos, and hope that the rest of the revelers will also be interested in that. Mom says that depending on what other preparations we have to do, we might also bring some mice dipped in mole (though mom says that carob chips will have to be substitutes for the chocolate that should have gone in them). Can't wait for Saturday!

	Lord Peter, Lord Peter.....OOOhhh my dearest Lord Peter...... I will be attending the party!!!! Miss Lillie has promised that she will bring both Colin and me to the party.....!!!! I will wear my best green 'open' bonnet......I do so hope that it will meet with your approval....Oh I so long to see you, dear sir... But, oh, dear Lord Peter.......do you think you could give a little time at the party to talk to Colin mancat-to-mancat? He is IN LOVE with a minor....a 6 month old kitten!!! but such a FIERCE kitten.......!!! Also he has started partaking of the Marmite (he says it helps his creative genius) and has changed his name (by deedpoll) to Colin Keats ...but I am not sure.....I have read his poem to the beauty of Miss Genie and....and.....I am not at all sure........ Lord Peter, Lord Peter...do you remember the time we walked out together in the moonlight......OOOhhhh sweet memories!!! Modesty forbids me to say more........ I do not know what time we will arrive......but, OOhh, wait for me my beloved......wait for me.........

	Lady Emma...I have to write you a serious message.....yes, we will all be coming to your Halloween Party....we are all looking forward to it..even I (although I will be bringing my umbrella, just in case anycat needs a good umbrella-belabouring (especially Colin and Tambolina) BUT, Lady Emma.....on a serious note......Samhain is the time that my Meouwmy wanted Grandad Conrad (The Magnificent and Revolting) to go to join the Wild Hunt..... Alas, he went to the Summerlands earlier, but she hopes to scatter his ashes at Samhain (especially if it is a wild and windy night)........ Lady Emma......could you make a little 'pool of peace'....a tiny free space in the jolly proceedings when those who loved Grandad can give a minute's silence for him........so that the Meouwmy can throw his ashes to the wind and let him whirl away, free, to the beyond and (hopefully) to the Wild Hunt.........we suffer, Lady Emma, but if this were done, perhaps we could find some peace....... ANYWAY.....we are all looking forward to the party.......I feel (reasonably) happy......Tambi has her Lord Peter (I hope) and Colin has his Miss Genie (perhaps.....but at least he seems happy with himself and more extrovert than he used to be).....and I......and I.......I am doing my best to make their lives happy....OK they need a bop on the head occasionally with my umbrella....but they are both good souls......... Perhaps we can speak together a little, at the party, dear Lady Emma......

	Miss Lillie, I trust that we can do something about Grandpa during our Dia de Los Muertos celebration (which we plan on having overnight after the actual Halloween party winds down). Dia de Los Muertos is a celebration of those who are beloved but have passed on in the Mexican tradition. You prepare special food, and you make decorations using marigolds, oranges, and the like. They then are all brought to local cemeteries, and there a feast begins, where the participants have good food, laughter, and music overnight and all the way through All Saints Day (November 1). You have a party for those loved ones, so to speak, and it is said that the souls of those who have passed on probably do partake of the festivities, even though we cannot see them with our own eyes. Perhaps while we have our party Grandpa Conrad and Izzie's dog sister Mollie might be there too, hiding in the echoes of the wind. They'll definitely appreciate hearing stories about themselves. I will definitely be telling about the many times Grandpa would trying to instruct us all about his wild cat ways, and I'm sure that everyone will have some stories to tell, whether about Grandpa or someone else, so that Grandpa's soul, if he is listening, will surely be having a grand old time listening in.

	Gracie, oh Gracie....that sounds good....El Dia de Los Muertos....yes, yes....we will be there....and perhaps, who knows, Grandad and some other of our beloved dead (Mutt-Mutt, Rambo, Mambo and the rest) and those of others (especially Izzie's dog sister, Mollie) will also be there 'hiding in the echoes of the wind'....... 	Wile.......plenty of room for all kitties who would like to attend. We have rented the entire Ormond Country Club, so there is room for dancing, eating, running around (we have a special room for the kittens) and just having fun. 	Ladies and gents, we are so grateful to the NO crew for hosting the party, but we wish we had more room to do the honors. It is so dark, rainy and gloomy right now where we live, it's pawsitively gloomy. Mom says she might attend the local farmer's market special Halloween party tomorrow afternoon, perhaps to pick up some delicacies for us. She thinks she should still make it back early enough to let us get to the party on time, though.
