My kitty constantly bites and shows aggresion towards me and the rest of our "human" family. Any Suggestions on how to make her stop?

How old is she? How long have you had her? How long has this been going on? Any new pets added to the household? Any change in the household routine? Is she spayed? New people coming in?

Hi! You know, we kittens, as we start to get to the adolescent stage, well, we're terrors! We are using our play skills as hunting skills and can be very rowdy and bitey with others...cats and folks.

Mom does this with me: Gives me long things stuffed with catnip and stuffing I can kick at!
Watches so I don't play too rough with my sibs. (my biggest thing!)
plays with me with a wand tied with a feather on the end...I love to chase it. I also love peacock feathers!
I really have fun with chasing stuff.

Please play with your kitten alot. She needs interactive play. Give her toys to bite and play with-not your hand. We chase everything and pounce on everything that moves, including toes and feet! If your eye moves close to where we can see it we could try to pounce, so don't hold us up to your face when we're in 'play/hunt' mode. We aren't being mean, we're simply learning to play the way we would to catch things to eat...which is why so many of us still love to catch bugs, mice, etc.

Don't be angry with your kitten...she won't understand why you're angry for something she does instinctually. If she gets too bitey, distract her with toys and activity! Make sure she's got a good scatching post and cat tree!
