What is the best (in each persons opinion) toys to have around for a kitten to play with? and which are not so good for kitten? I haven't had a kitten for years I am not sure what toys are best for her at different ages or if it matters based on age. Thanks!!

We just had twin kitten fosters in and they would play with *anything* that wasn't nailed down! They loved stuffed mice and bottle caps in particular.

Agreed. Coop's 13 months old, and he'll play with anything. He particularly enjoys anything with feathers and cat dancers -- he loves to chace.

Also, milk carton rings are an excellent kitten occupier. They'll play with them for hours....

Have fun!

Sabre

Can I chew on- that?

Sabres favorite toy is any piece of paper that has a loud crinkle. Garbage can make some great toys. Old paper towel tubes, toilet paper tubes are loved in this household. As well as bottles of any size that will slide on the kitchen floor. We use any boxes to make houses. I took a large cereal box from costco and cut holes in it to make a house for sabre. He barely fits in it now but he still loves it! Very easy to make. Its in his profile pic.

Thanks everyone! Kit-Kit loves the ball with a bell in it and her crinkle tunnel and she has a long string and small mousie she loves ---
and her she loves to climb her scratching post ---- but i love the costco sized box for a little house-- I bought her a Lazer light and was a bit worried she might be too young for it.... shes only about 14weeks old so just over 3 mos... ill try the paper towel/toliet paper roll

One bit of advice -- careful with the TP roll. Coop's latest fascination is with the actual toilet paper. I've come home to find my house TP'd all the way from the bathroom into the dining room! laugh out loudlaugh out loudlaugh out loud

There should be a television show, "Kittens do the Darndest Things!"
