Getting very impatient

I can't wait until Cookie has her kittens. It seems like every day I think its the day and then nothing. I am going crazy looking for all the signs that she is in labor; I think I'm starting to make them up!

What if she has the signs and then just stops and goes to sleep or just lounges around? That's what has been REALLY confusing me!

What happened with my cat was that she was showing those signs and then they stopped. Then about an hour later they would start up again. She's probably having what we would call braxton hicks. lol I'm sure labor will start any where from an hour or a few days from now. I know it's hard to wait. I was feeling like you.

She has been pretty irritable today and doesn't seem to want to be handled. She scratched me when I tried to pick her up to put her in the carrier so we could go to work. She has slept pretty much all day and had some more discharge last night (a little more than the other times). She was panting a lot earlier but we were outside (on our way in) so it may have been because of the heat.

Her belly seems to be convulsing from her front to her back and I caught her nesting.
