I'm looking for some products for help remove dead and loose hair from my cats' coats. I groom them often. But I am just finding constant hair in my house. My cats are both shorthaired moggies. I try to groom at least a couple times a week. I tried using something called "tacky matts" on the cats. It was a disaster - I put the sheet on the cats and as soon as I went to peel it off, I nearly ripped my cats' skin off! I tried putting water on them, to see if that would make it less sticky, but when I tried it on myself first, it hurt!

A Zoom groom or similar is great if your cats will tolerate it--it's got rubber nubs that massage the hair right out! I hate it, but most kitties like it from what I've seen.
