	Our Mom is asking for purrs for our family. Her younger brother, our Uncle, has been diagnosed with stage 4 esophagael cancer. We're all in shock. Right now, Uncle is doing some research and reading, trying to decide what he wants to do. Mom's going to their house on Saturday and they're all going to talk about what needs to be done. As Mom says: When a member of the family get cancer, the whole family has cancer. Tia and I are doing our part trying to keep Mom company and giving her hugs and kitty cat kisses and keep her spirits up. We'd appreciate if if you could add our family to your purr list. Thank you.

	Our sister-in-law ( human) has it and is undergoing both radiation and chemotherapy. She was told because that it wasn't under her clavicle that her chances of survivial were 85%. She did six-seven weeks of both radiation. Chemo was done on Monday and radiation every day.....She hated the Peg tube but she is managing one day at a time. I text her to see how she is doing because using her voice hurts. Scandi shakes were helpful in the food department. Our neighbor had throat cancer recommended them to her. He survived it and it has been seven years for him. The neighbor was a smoker but the sister in law wasn't. Both were in stage four. Your uncle will need help going to treatments and around the house. He needs to keep fluids. Weight loss will be expected....Any other info...I can pass along....wishes for speedy recovery are being sent your way..
