	Spitfire Ty so much for this thread, mommy is so upset she is having trouble typing for me. She feels guilty and upset of the thought of me dying that she is physically sick tonight. 	Hi. I volunteer at 2 animal shelters. When there is a sick kitten that is sluggish and vomiting we give them unflavored Pedialyte by way of a syringe. It has to be UNFLAVORED. Please call your vet and see if that remedy might help Angel. I know your heart is breaking now. However, please remember you are not alone. There are lots of us who have been praying for you and your Angel!

	Know that we are purring for Angel and you. With Angel being constipated, you need to stimulate her by using a slightly moistened washcloth and gently rubbing her bottom, just like a mother cat would clean her babies. This stimulated the kitten's system and makes it want to pass stool. She is too small to use the litterbox and needs to be cleaned as often as she goes. I'm surprised the vet hasn't helped you in this regard. Do you have any animal shelters you can phone to ask for instructions on nursing a tiny kitten? Purrs and Love, Athena

	Yes, when I was small I couldn't go unless my hiney and abdomen was massaged. Little ones will just fill up if you don't massage them like a momma cat. We are purrrring for you. I was very very sick as a little baby and I made it. i'm purrring you make it too and get well. Many purrrrs, Bedelia

	Wow... Athena and Bedelia are right. I was so upset about Angel that I called our cat care coordinator at one shelter on her vacation. She has massaged hundreds of kitten bottoms and it helps. We're still purraying for you and Angel!!

Mommy's Miracle -

	I have raised kittens before and I have stimulated her as well as had the vet out here 2 times, I also have been in contact with the cat rescue I have volunteered for. The problem is since she is so small, vet said size of a 9 day old kitten she may have problems with her insides not formed properly or kidney issues. I am taking her to a new vet this afternoon just to see what else I can do if anything. I am also going to ask for the paste stuff she can eat since the other vet did not give me any. 	Purrring for you! I was brought up on kitty milk mixed with a bit of A/D (I was about 6-7 weeks old but very sick and small and immature) in a feeding tube. You might be a little constipated if you're bit dehydrated. Good luck wit your new vet because we all want you to get we and make it Lot's of Purrrs, Bedelia
