GO!

Our Rollie (Dogster)

This is a special place for cats to share their love and support for each other during difficult times; it's a place to light candles, give a "get well purr" and let everyfur know they are never ever alone.

We know he's a dog, but we think he's just a big cat and we love him.

Our Rollie was rushed to the vet this morning. He wasn't able to stand up. He has to be hospitalized until Saturday, or longer.

The Dr Guy is hoping it's something called Geriatric Vestibular Syndrome. If it is, it's supposed to correct itself in about two weeks.

If it is something worse... well Momma and Daddy can't stop crying.

Please keep all of us in your purrs and prayers. We miss him ... cry

It's Delyte and the Grays. We are all purring so hard for Rollie! Our human had the human version of this and said it was very horrible and scary. She said she couldn't imagine how frightened Rollie must be. We hope that they can make his symptoms go away and cure him of this. Giant multicolored purrs!! wave

You are all ......... simply wonderful!

Your purrs and prayers are working!

The Dr Guy called Momma this morning and told her that Rollie was up and walking on his own.

He is still pretty weak and a lot confused, but even though he was walking in circles sometimes, he was still able to walk straight too! He was able to go outside to potty with Momma when she was up visiting him. They had to help him get up the 2 steps to get back inside, but he was doing oh so much better.

This syndrome is awful. The Dr Guy said it was like being in a fun house and not being able to figure out where the ground was and the whole world is spinning.

Dr Guy said that he has never seen a dog compensate and adjust as quickly as Rollie has.

Rollie will get to come home as soon as he is strong enough, which could be as soon as tomorrow depending on how he is doing, but most certainly will be home this weekend at the latest.

Momma took him up some of his own food because he wasn't eating what they have up there and she took him his "Happy Hips" treats. They are his favorites! She spent about an hour with him and we knew she had been to see him because when she came home we could smell our sweet Rollie on her.

This is a good thing because Akira laid in Rollie's "spot" all night last night crying and kept Momma up all night long. I laid in my bed all night looking for my bestest Dog friend and I think even Bailey was a little out of it without our Rollie. He is pretty darn special to everyone in our family.

So for all of your thoughts, prayers and purrs....... from the bottom of our kitty and human hearts, we thank you so very much! We just know they are working and bringing peace to all of us!
