It doesn't bother me a bit that the manufacturing center for Weruva and Soulistic is in Thailand. I don't think that products bearing the "made in USA" label have any guarantee of quality, given all the recalls of US-produced foods.

We tried Soulistic, and I was not impressed compared with Weruva. We tried the two chicken flavors and both were very watery, seeming to have as much gravy as meat. The chicken and pumpkin flavor also contains spinach, so much in the batch we got that the gravy appeared green. The cats enjoyed both flavors and had no problems, but I returned the unused cans and wouldn't buy it again. We'll stick with Weruva in their rotation, even though it's more expensive than the supposedly-comparable Soulistic.

I personally don't see a huge difference between the Good Karma Chicken and the Paw Lickin' Chicken, except that I agree there is more water in the former. The cost difference is just too great to ignore, budget wise. frown

Soulistic is made by Weruva. You guys should know that since we wrote to the head of Weruva asking the spinach to be removed from one of the flavors!!! It's also been on my website for a very long time now. I feed Soulistic to Finney and Lacey, they love it! I give them the chicken one, I used to do the canned one with the pumpkin but won't again until the spinach is removed. But they have pouches that are good too. The autumn bounty one is good.
