	Hey Feline Friends, I'm just curious if there is anyone out there who loves ice cream like me. And more than that, is it ok for me to eat it? Every Sunday mom gives me some vanilla ice cream. Mmmm... I love it. I don't get sick from it, but mom is curious if it's a good idea or not. I would eat all flavors if mom would let me, but she won't. :-( All I get is vanilla. Does anyone out there share my passion?

	If I'm lucky, I try to lick Mom's fingers whenever she's eating vanilla icecream. Mom tells me I can't have any icecream because cats are lactose intolerant. Usually this means the milk can cause gastric upset, but as long as it's occasional and you aren't getting sick from it, I think it would be ok for you to continue eating it as a treat. Now if only I could get my mom to see it my way!

	Well my Mom and Dad never have ice cream in the house- but Mom does let me have yogurt, I love strawberry! Ooh and she lets me have a bit of chocolate pudding too when she makes it. Damn I'm spoiled

	Thanks for your feedback, everyone! Mercia, I too love yogurt. I've never had strawberry, but mom does have plain yogurt & it's yummy good. It sounds like my ice cream is ok as long as it's in small doses.

	Mercia, my mom told me I can't have chocolate because it is poisonous for cats and dogs. Please have your mom double check so you don't get hurt by eating your chocolate pudding. Maybe she could give you vanilla or butterscotch. Here is link to a website you may want to have your mom read. 	My dad used to work at ben & jerrys, so he got to take home free ice cream all the time. When my mom ate some, she would give me the tops to lick, if they didn't have chocolate on them, because chocolate is bad for me, and all kitties. Milk isn't great either, but it's not poisonous, and I never got sick from it. There was only ever one or two licks, but I would beg for it like it was the biggest feast you've ever seen. drool

	I love ice cream, frozen and regular yogurt. I'm so spoiled. My mom always gives me a spoonful or lets me lick the bowl after she's finished as long as there is no chocolate in it. I never tried pudding. I should ask my mom to make me some. My mom says they sell doggy ice cream at the store, but it still has cheese and other dairy in it. Have you ever seen kitty ice cream? They should come up with something like tofutti for us!
