I'm guessing EVO since it is the more expensive and has more protein. Haha. But just wondering if Solid Gold is decent enough. Price is definately an issue. However, my cats have been on Solid Gold before and had the runs. Any other recomendations?

I haven't tried EVO dry cat food yet and many people swear by it but I have read many accounts of cats getting back constipation, some even having to have surgery from it. So, I myself would probably go with the other.

Both are good foods.
My animals (dogs & cats) never liked either brand though.

Has the formula of the EVO Cat & Kitten kibble changed? I would swear it used to have potatoes in it when I fed it! Anyway, I would say the EVO over all other brands of kibble. Look at the Solid Gold Indigo Moon, potatoes are the 2nd ingredient and chicken meal, rather than chicken, is the 1st ingredient. The 1st 5 ingredients of the EVO are turkey, turkey meal, chicken, herring meal, and chicken fat.
