The Before Grain by Merrick does not have vitamins and such, so it cant be a 100% nutritional meal, you still need to supplement.

The dry does, doesn't it? I know the wet doesn't since it is just meat and water....the dry seemed decent?

hmmm - we are confused over her if you can tell by our million posts. I am a researching queen!

mol.....at research Queen....join the club.....mol!!

I just looked at their web site and it doesnt list the amounts of the dry before grain merricks, magnesium or such.

Is it on the bag?? did they just decide to leave it off their web site?
I hate it when they do that.

Why do they have to put 2 kinds of potato in there??? Can we say cheap filler or what!

I know what you mean Shadow....

also, their bag has a misprint on it...ding dongs. I am going to ask for their stats. Artemis gave them to me so I am going to assume all reputable companies will.

Good and bad news....the picky eater ate her wet this morning but Callie did not and she use to eat wet with her previous owners (well that is what her card said at the shelter)

Have a great day!

smile thanks.
still waiting on the stats...but i am sure it is fine. just strange they left percentages off the bag.

I learned the hard way that some kitties do not like thier dry mixed with wet...that is why little miss Callie did not eat it. She loves the wellness wet. Miss Choe eats it mixed, by itself, warm, cold....this is an easy switch!

Thanks Oreo and Shadow!

Oreo, thanks for all the info. Alabama has allergies, itching, rodent ulcer, and vomiting, and after all the prednisone shots and pills I decided to try to change her diet. So I took her off dry all together, so far so good but she's still getting used to it. I bought Wellness, Spots Stew, and By Nature Organics, certified organic, she seems to like all 3. I'm thinking I should keep her on one brand to see if it helps her symptoms over time? Not sure which to go with, they all seem to be grain free. I saw a post somewhere else on catster saying spots has grains, but the ingredients on the can don't indicate that.
