 | | | | Our Devon Rex has apparently just had a stroke, diagnosed by our vet. She is partially paralyzed and unable to stand. We are feeding her by hand and she still responds to caresses and our talking to her. She eats heartily but has to be held up so that she can eat. She also has an occasional bout of electrical activity, where her limbs suddenly stiffen. Is there anything in this group of syptoms that can be viewed as encouraging? We're hoping that she regains ability to use her legs but do now want to ignore her quality of life. | | | | |
