 | |  | | I'm not sure if it's purebred, but that dog is definitely some sort of terrier mix, and could be a pure Soft-Coated Wheaten Terrier, although his haircut looks more like the way a West Highland White is groomed. Either way, I'm with you; I'm not crazy about the "terrier look", at least the shaggy varieties. And, Meowma doesn't care for the looks of doggies- or men! with facial hair, she likes them smooth.
But, for the most part, that's why there are still so many breeds of dogs today; people like different types. As for kitties, most of our breeds were surely developed based on appearances. |  |  | |  |
