My mom got a job teaching English in South Korea and she is nervous about taking me with her! She is afraid because I have never travelled well in the car, so she does not know if I will be any better on a plane. I always get so nervous I have accidents in my kennel. My doctor said she could give my mommy some medicine to relax me, but what does she do to prevent me from going potty in my kennel? Also, what about when we get to Masan? What about food for me and kitty litter? What if I get sick and need to go to the doctor? When my mom's contract is up and we get to come back home to Arizona, does the US require a quarantine before coming back to the States? Oh dear, I'm very scared!

Well I don't know about quarantine but make sure you have an electronic chip that will get you through the airport hassle faster. Korea is a long ways away and unless you actually knock the cat out theres a chance they'll poo during the flight however they may be so nervous - being in cargo is very noisy - that they may not. Is there any way you can arrange for the kitty to be up with you in the cabin - Natasha flew from Canada and she's never fully recovered from it, she still a nervous Nelly! But congrats on the job!

I found this website and it looks like it has a lot of information about international pet travel. http://www.pettravel.com/passportnew.cfm

You can always put puppy pee pads in the carrier to help with messes.

Good luck Miss Kitty and let us know how you do. Purrrrrrrrs

Poor little Miss Kitty. I would be nervous too and have no advice other than have your owners check everything out to the max. I have never flown on a plane and my mom hates to see any animal at the airport-she is sure they are all nervous.
Hope a mild sedative will help. Good luck.
