my cat was neutered, surgery effects?

This forum is for cat lovers seeking everyday advice and suggestions on health-related issues. Remember, however, that advice on a public forum simply can't be a substitute for proper medical attention. Only your vet can say assuredly what is best for your cat.

Hello, my 7 months old cat was finally neutered this tuesday. (I took him to the humane society)

I was checking on his stitches, and I was wondering if it looks okay? I'm not sure why they made an incision on his abdomen.
Hes been eating and using the bathroom normally. Sometimes he is a bit anti-social.

Does it look like its healing okay?

The green line is actually a tattoo. Not that male cats need one as most folks can identify an altered male, but some places to it as a matter of course to show that a cat is spayed/neutered. As for his stitches, I can't quite figure out the angle I was seeing, but it looks pretty normal. As long as they don't get really red and inflamed and he doesn't lick, he should be okay.

I keep checking on his "tattoo" and since my other cat never got this done. I am not sure if its healing correctly.

As you can see there is some yellow crust around it. Is this normal?

I also took my cat to the vet 3 weeks ago because he kept throwing up out of no where. When he throws up, it looks like he doesn't bother chewing his food and just swallows it whole. Today i saw he threw up in the bathroom, all clumpy like he hasn't chewed his food.

Im going to wait to see if he throws up again before i bring him to the vet. I am just worried about him since sometimes he just sits on the floor all crouched up. But he plays a lot with are other cat and still seems to have an appetite.
