|Abbie had lymphoma in her gastrointestinal tract. I went through a pretty tough year or so with her, but I ended up losing her to bone cancer (after I got her into remission from the other). It's very hard when you know your kitty has limited time. All I can say is to make the most of each and every minute with her. She'll tell you when it's time. I do hope you have longer with her than the vet said, but take comfort that the time she has left will be spent with people who love her so much.
I've never heard of Flor-essence. I had Abbie on B-12 shots to aid in the absorption of nutrients. That helped her a lot. The prednisone also helped immensely. I did chemo treatments at home for nearly a year, and they were very successful with the lymphoma. As I said, though, once the bone cancer crept in, there was nothing I could do but monitor her quality of life and wait for her to tell me she was ready to make the trip to kitty heaven.
If you need anyone to talk to, please feel free to p-mail me.
Jenna (Abbie's mommy)
