Yes, it is possible for a Birman not to have white paws, even though this is considered a big fault according to the breed standards. Though this should only be relevant to breeders and people looking to enter their cat in shows.
The lack of white paws on your kitty doesn't make him any less of a Birman, he'll be just as loving and playful and will make a perfect pet
Another thought is that he could be a Ragdoll instead, they look very similar to Birmans, with blue eyes and the same coloration on the face, tail and legs, but they don't have to have the pure white feet.  |  |  |  |  |
