Buttercup
Nicknames: BC (stands for "Beautiful Cat" as well as "Buttercup") Breed: Norwegian Forest Cat Age: 4 Years Gender: Female Likes: She loves to climb up to high places, like our 7 foot high bookcases. She also loves to groom her cat pals. Pet Peeves: She would really love to go outside to play. But there are too many cars and she has no experience outside. It's too dangerous for her, but she doesn't understand that and gets frustrated with us for not letting her out.
Moka (is home!)
Two Weeks of Gifts!   Nicknames: Moka Doka, Mokado Breed: Domestic Shorthair Age: 3 Years Gender: Male Likes: Moka likes to explore and make his own fun. A wadded-up piece of tape or a bottle cap can captivate him. He enjoys wrestling and playing with his companions Buttercup and Locket. Strangely, he also likes to eat the hair of human companion Rachel. Pet Peeves: He doesn't like to be touched when he's not in the mood. And he doesn't like to be told he's not allowed to eat Rachel's hair!
Louise Brooks
Breed: Domestic Shorthair Age: 6 Years Gender: Female Likes: She likes to play with Buttercup. They wrestle from a prone position, so Louise isn't disadvantaged by having only 3 legs. She also likes to hang out with Chirpy, who she's known since they both lived outside. It's good to be around old friends! Pet Peeves: She dislikes loud noises and sudden movements by homo sapiens.
Chirpy
Nicknames: Cheepie Breed: Domestic Shorthair Age: 6 Years Gender: Male Likes: Chirpy loves attention when he seeks it out, and loves to be left alone when he's feeling reclusive. Pet Peeves: Chirpy does not like to be picked up.
Locket
Breed: Domestic Shorthair Age: 3 Years Gender: Female Likes: Locket loves human attention, especially having her stomach rubbed. Pet Peeves: She is not crazy about other cats, as we've discovered. Her default is to hiss at her housemates, though she loves to spend time with her human companions.
Gigunda
Breed: Maine Coon/Domestic Medium Hair Age: 5 Years Gender: Male Likes: He loves people, very surprising for a cat who has spent a lot of time living on the streets. Pet Peeves: He occasionally gets overstimulated, and lets you know when he's had enough.
Pumpkin
Nicknames: Mr. Pumpkin, Pumpy Breed: Domestic Shorthair Age: 5 Years Gender: Male Likes: Pumpkin loves to have his ears scratched! Pet Peeves: Understandably, he doesn't like territorial aggression from other cats. My Corral of Favorite Pets
