Arrival Story:
Jennie watched the next door neighbor kid torture this kitten that had been dropped off and abandoned and she could not bare to see the kid torture him so she brought him home, we took him to the vet....and he has been inside with us every since....he is old and fat and we love him dearly!

Bio:
Update: Boots is very old and still with us. He does not hear very well, acts like he is lost at night in the house while wondering around, and no longer really grooms himself but we brush him weekly and when we do he purrs loudly. He has never been keen to liking Cyrus but he does go and stare at Kiara the Golden when she is in her crate. He hisses at Cyrus and tries to start a fight between the puppy gate and Cyrus; but interesting enough he has not hissed at Kiara. I think he knows she does not feel threatened nor does he. Not sure how much longer he will be with us but we hang on to each day. We love you Boots even though you are a mean old grumpy cuss in your old age and we hang on to each day you are still with us. Update: 7-21-07 Boots now hisses at Kiara too....however Kiara really likes him and when Cyrus is not around Boots and Kiara will look at each other and even touch noses...Kiara play bows to him all the time....I think Cyrus is just scared to death of him after all his puppy days of being tormented by Boots...meow meow....hiss hiss....we still love you very very much Boots...even if you are still an old moody cuss:) UPDATE*****October 31, 2008 Boots stopped eating for a couple of days. We have found him a new food he loves...Tiki Cats. He has eaten the new food for the past four days and purrs while eating:) Kiara and Boots have become very good pals. They can spend time together in the same room as long as Cyrus or Joe are kept in different rooms when the humans are home. Boots will let Kiara put her nose up to him and they often lay face to face with each other for long periods of time through the baby gate when mom is getting ready for work. Kiara is worried about him and goes frequently to his room to check on him. Even Cyrus is worried about him although they never became pals. We love you Boots....and it is strange but you are becoming more mellow with each day and we can not call you the old cuss anymore... "You are our sweet, old, and feeble Boots"
