Arrival Story:
Xena was adopted after being socialized by a wonderful lady who works with a TNR Program. After losing our dear Wriggley, we were heartbroken and not sure if we could take on another kitty so soon. But opening up our heart and home to a kitty that needs our help is the way to heal and honor the memory of Wriggley.
As soon as we saw her photo, we were in love. She is a sweet little girl with a beautiful face. Our first meeting proved to be just as memorable. She slept in my husband's arms for 2 hours. Keeping in mind that she was feral when she was trapped, shows how far she has come.
Bio:
Xena was found in a colony of feral cats and kittens in a nearby town. The agency PawsWatch traps and spays/neuters and works with the kitties to socialize and tame them to allow for them to be adopted. Those that are to wild and will not be suitable for living in a home are returned to the location where they were trapped to live out their lives. The numbers in the feral colony will hopefully decline through attrition. We are thrilled to be giving her an opportunity to live a wonderful, long, and pampered life.

Mommy and Daddy are coming home tomorrow from their
vacation. I think I miss them. I actually think I forgot who they are...
Grandma and Grandpa are going to tell them I wasn't a real good girl.
I have been playing the bee game all week. No takers
What is really funny is that Mommy really had a bee chasing her bum and it stung her a couple of times.
It must of got under her bathing suit cover up and tried to chase her.
Hmmm, she didn't want to play that game either.

It is about that time of the night..every night,when I start zoomin around the house. Mom says it is like I have a bee chasing my bum and I am trying to get away.
My furamily starts to disappear as I try to get them to join me.
I can't find any willing participants so I am left to pounce on
their heads as they innocently stand by and watch me run from
the bee...

Well, it has been quite a while since my spay. Other then the lampshade, as my friend Pixie calls it, and the scratchy throat that I had for a couple days, it went pretty well.
I hardly licked my incision at all and took my pain pills willingly. I borrowed Buddy's tranquility blanket to help with my recovery. It is very pretty and soft.
Mommy will be going in to have her knee fixed tomorrow so she is going to borrow it next.
I have made friends with pretty much everyone except my wicked step sisters, Nonny and Stripey. They are not being very receptive to my charming personality and cuteness.
They have made their point. They eat first, play first, get attention first.bla, bla, bla. I get it. There is a new photo of them together on Stripey's page watching me. I am waiting for the mop and pail to come out. Clean the floor, Xena and you are not going to the Ball.
I have to figure out what to do with them. Hmm what to do..what to do
