 Quick Bio:
Likes: Being around people! He also loves playing hide -n-seek, sleeping, & EATING. Experimenting with gravity never fails to amuse him, and he never misses an opportunity to explore (an open dishwasher or dryer, a new piece of furniture, etc.).

Pet-Peeves: He hates being ignored. He will meow incessantly and paw your head until you give him some attention (or food!). And, he pretty much despises getting his nails clipped.

Favorite Toy: Buster loves Q-tips--He'll dig through the garbage just to get one to play with. Also, he loves his "crinkle ball" and anything yellow.

Favorite Nap Spot: Mom's lap, of course. When he wants to be alone, though, he likes to sleep on top of the kitchen cabinets. He loves to sit on pizza boxes, too.

Favorite Food: Buster absolutely loves his regular food, but he always wants to eat people food, too. His favorites are bananas and tuna, although he doesn't care for crab.

Skills: He learned how to "sit," "stay" & "come." He's best at sitting. He can also open cabinet doors. Don't ask me how, but he also "knocks" on the bedroom door if it's shut--and it sounds like a person's knocking! (Very strange)

Dwells:
indoors

Arrival Story: After bugging my husband for a cat for three years--he wanted a dog--he told me he'd give me one for my 30th b-day (yay!). So, we went to the local shelter to find a cat that would adopt us. Buster staked us out right away. He climbed in my lap and gave me repeated "head butts." We were there for a long time, & there were many other cats competing for my attention, but Buster won out hands down. I even left the room and returned a few minutes later to see if Buster would remember me--He did, of course! The whole time, though, he never purred, so I was worried that he may never purr. Within a few days of being in his new home, though, he was purring away, satisfied to be the king of the castle.

Bio: Buster was a little over 1-1/2 years old when he adopted us. He had been in the shelter for over a year, having to share his food and litter box with about 50 other cats. Yipes! Now, he totally appreciates having his litter box cleaned out every night. One "issue" he carried away from living at the shelter is rushed eating. So, I have to feed him rations throughout the day in small portions that won't make him sick if he eats too fast. Buster is a little cross-eyed, too. He "lost his first life" when he tried to jump from the plant shelf to the loft and missed. We rushed him to the emergency vet. He was okay, though--just a little shaken up (as were we). He doesn't go up there anymore. See how smart he is!
