Nicknames: Odie, OlyPoly, Ols, Olykins, Oly-Pie! (from my handsome Ambro!)
Badges:
Coloration: Tortie
Likes: I love to sneak attack my brothers and sister. I also love to rough housing with my dogsister Alexis. I also must know what is going on at all times and let everyone know my opinion on the matter!
Pet-Peeves: Not being fed on time, no one to play with and closed doors.
Favorite Toy: I love the laser pointer that mommy teases us with! I could chase it all over the house for hours on end! I also love a good game of soccer and *gasp* playing fetch!
Favorite Nap Spot: I love sleeping on my mommy's lap, or in front of the furnace if it's cold. I also like snuggling with my brothers Petrie and Rico.
Favorite Food: Iams dry food (the Turquoise bag) and 9 Lives canned food for special occasions
Skills: I am a natural conversationalist and can talk for hours. I am also quite skilled at stalking things, such as my dogsister Alexis!
Dwells:
indoors
Arrival Story: Well my mommy worked with the lady that owned my fur-mommy. Since they worked at a medical lab mommy thought it would be cute to name me after something to remind her of where she got me.
So I was named for either the most requested test, or the machine that ran the test, it was called the OLY. It's pronounced "Oh-Lee" and while I'm not sure what it stands for exactly, I rather like it!
Bio: Mommy says I am her beautiful Tortie girl. She loves my pretty fur and how it looks like I was painted with gold.
I can be quite the ham at times, but am really a shy girl around folks I don't know.
I rule the roost around here though. Me and my sister Murph will tie up from time to time but I guess all sisters do that. Most of my brothers have a healthy dose of respect for me as I'm not above setting them straight on things.

Thank you all so much for the purrs, prayers & rosies you have sent.
Mom took little Calvin to the vet this morning & he listened to him & said he didn't think it was pneumonia. (Thank goodness!)
He said he was pretty rattly & he couldn't hear super good because Calvin was purring loudly. MOL
He gave him a shot like I had last week. Gentocin & B-12 then he switched him & the rest of us over to Bactrim.
He said the Clavamox is good but it generally does what it's going to the first week & if we are still sick then they need to change the antibiotic.
He thinks it's a really bad sinus infection and said that Calvin will have to fight it off & hopefully the meds will help him.
Now mom thinks the Bactrim will help but the only problem is that it makes ALL of us drool something fierce! I mean we are talking like Turner & Hooch type drool. (ick!)
But we only take it once a day so she's thinking we are just going to have to deal with 5 minutes of nasty drool.
We are not sure how Calvin will do with it though. Since he got the shot today he doesn't start on it til tomorrow. Mom is a bit worried that if he drools like we did then he will have an even harder time breathing. *sigh*
But that is the latest & hopefully we will have better news to report after a few days of new meds!
Thank you all again, it has meant a lot to us & mom! We'd be lost without you guys & gals!
First of all mom wants to thank everyfur for their purrs & prayers, she knows they are helping. Thank you Hazel Lucy for adding me to the purr list.
Well I just *knew* something was up when Grandmom drug me out from under the bed...then I saw it...the kitty carrier!
Well after a bit of a tussle I finally decided that I would get in. mol
We went to see Dr. Greg (whom me & mom both really like. He's been our vet for nearly 16 years. We also see a very nice lady vet in town when we can't see Dr. Greg.)
Well he weighed me & said I weighed 16.3 pounds. I told him it was not nice to say a lady's weight out loud!
Then his helper took my temp! I was running a low fever so I got a shot of Gentocin & B12. He also put me on Clavamox twice a day for a while.
He said if I didn't start feeling better I might have to get a shot each day for a few days.
And what was funny was that it was a year or two to the very day that I was in there with that nasty fever that wouldn't break for nearly a week. He & mom laughed about my timing but I didn't find it very funny at all!
Well mom told him she had some of the others doing the same & he sent home some Amoxidrops for them to get started on.
So thankfully she didn't have to bring all of us in...Can you say Ka-Ching!
Today was $65.00 so she was very thankful he did not insist on seeing all of us separately. But mom says we are worth more than anything any vet could charge. (I think she's trying to suck up & get back on my good side.)
So all the sibs that are sneezing started on the meds tonight.
I also want to thank the beautiful Miss Pansy for her offer to send Nurse Pansy over to "treat" us until we could see the vet...I thought it was very sweet of her, but for some reason Felina is hiding under Grandmom's bed mumbling something about it being a trap?
So we now have meds & should be on the road to feeling better soon.
