Arrival Story:
I was recovering from surgery and my husband suggested a field trip to PetSmart to buy treats for Mashy -- unfortunately, it was a Saturday afternoon, which meant that the local shelters were onsite with adoptable animals (always dangerous with me!). In the time that it took my husband to drop me off at the door and park the car, Huddy had already found me! My husband came in to find me sitting down, cuddling a 1.5 lb. orange kitten and surrendered to the look on my face -- Huddy needed love and we needed Huddy!

Bio:
Huddy was a rescue -- he was originally found next to the dupster at a local grocery store and was very sick when he was taken to the shelter. When we adopted him, he had been neutered and was under a vet's care, but weighed only 1.5 lbs and wasn't expected to make a recovery. I was determined, though, and Huddy and I recovered together -- and today, he's an active and happy old cat!
