Arrival Story:
Teddy came from the Yonkers Animals Shelter. He went from being meanie, to being a lap cat with bipolar tendencies (purring like crazy, then biting out of nowhere), to his current zen state in his foster home. His foster mom always had a soft spot for him (and vice versa), and once she moved to an apartment that allowed cats, she took him home for a while; he's been in a state of bliss ever since.

Bio:
I've lived at Petsmart in Yonkers since October 2007. Before that, I was at the Yonkers Animal Shelter. I'm a nice guy; really, I am! I'm quirky and headstrong, but I'm also a funny guy and can make you laugh; I like to get your attention by making funny faces at you. Once I've decided to adopt you, I will grant you with my presence on your lap and demand that you to kiss me and give me a good head rub. In return, I will reward you by purring and staying in your lap. Mostly, I'm just an independent kind of guy who loves to sleep, explore, and climb into cardboard boxes. I get along with other cats, but I'm also perfectly fine being alone in the house if you have to work long hours. All I need is some wet food in the morning, a comfy place to relax, and someone who will give me some space if I'm feeling a little grouchy (I have a live and let live philosophy).
