Rippin' It Up!

Hmmm. We might have done something bad. I can't recall. I mean, I don't remember. Well, maybe I remember but I don't know. My memory fails me. You see, Sissy runs outside a lot. I know that's bad. Mom yells and chases her, and gets exasperated. That's a big word for me, but I know what it means! So Sissy LeMew is really the NAUGHTY one.

But we might have had a contest where we climbed the screen, and the screen might have torn off. I'm sort of heavy. Ooops. It happened while Mom was sleeping and took her a little while to notice. And by that time, I had moved on to shredding her vintage silk slip and trying to eat the plastic bag the dry cleaning comes in. What do you mean these aren't toys? Humph.

Uh Oh. Now Mom's saying we shouldn't be on the ironing board, ripping up the clean laundry. Actually, my sister Miss Kitty is trying to catch the on/off chains on the ceiling fan. Is that wrong?

And I finally ripped the Christmas hat off that DUMB MOUSE! Now it's not a ChristMouse, it's just a MOUSE. What do you mean, I'm not supposed to eat that? Oh, wait, I found Mom's shawl with fringe to shred. I think I'm teething... Mom found some of my teeth!

Geesh. Why is Mom so cranky all the time?

Full House

Someone new came into the house this week. A man Mom calls "David." He was here before, then left, but now he's back. He has a lot of boxes, and luggage that's fun to get into. He seems to do something with computers and doesn't want me to eat the cords. He stays up late at night and I stay up with him "helping" him with his computer work. He's surprised at how technically savvy I am, but I'm not!

He says that I'm like a little Koala bear, the way I latch onto his arm like I am climbing a tree. Ha ha!

The only downside is that he sleeps where I was sleeping! What is up with that??? Sometimes I bite him just so he'll move over. Then Miss LeMew bites his feet. That is SO FUNNY, even the Mom laughs.

Mom says that we are eating her out of house and home! I mean, we're growing cats! And of course, I like apples, cheese and ice cream! And lettuce! And cheese puffs! And popcorn! And everything that Mom is eating, pretty much. Oooh, and I like naps. Naps are good. I think I'll take one now...

I'm Learning!

Today I learned how to drink from the faucet! Mom says that's because I'm smart! She also says I'm naughty, but I wonder if she really knows what naughty is. For example, Sissy (my sister Miss LeMew) likes to put all her toys in the bed while Mom is sleeping. She's just HELPING in case Mom wakes up and needs to chew on something, or play with a toy. Geez! That's not naughty!

But Sissy also likes to run outside when Mom goes out to garden and take Mom's jewelry and hide it. That's pretty naughty. And sometimes I like to climb the screens - right to the top! Mom says that's naughty too! Then she yells NO and gives us corporal cuddling. So annoying!

I'm also learning how to jump on the bed, how to play new games, and how to jump into the windows! This is a real learning week for me!
