Arrival Story:
I used to volunteer at the Humane Society for Seattle/King County, and during my shift (I played with/trained the dogs) I went to go wash my hands in the bathroom, which is by the cat dorms. So I just walked in to have a look around for fun, and fell in love with this sweet boy immediately! I went back the next day they were open and put a hold on him, and adopted him the following day. I knew he & my other siam mix would be perfect friends, and things turned out better than I couldve imagined. I adopted him Oct.21.2004

Bio:
This young man is such a LOVE!!! He just purrs and rubs up against any one & anything in his path including the other cats and even the dogs! If I am laying on my bed trying to sleep, he will jump up and purr very loudly and rub his face on my hand/face/whatever constantly, even if Im completely ignoring him. He simply cannot get enough attention. As soon as anyone touches him his motor starts up. Charlie loves (and has taught Linus how) to open cabinet doors. I often come home to find 5 or more cabinet doors open all over the kitchen.. He is a very out-going & confident cat, and has never been affected by the dogs' rambunctious behavior or chasing of him. He is extremely active, mischievous & playful, but also extremely cuddly & sweet. Hes turned out to be the perfect addition to the family! + + + SAT 11/25/06- Charlie snuck outside when I wasnt looking, and hasnt been seen since. Hes friendly, out-going, has a collar and tags, and is microchipped. However hes been an indoor cat his whole life, and the weather has been wet and freezing this weekend. Please keep him in your thoughts!!! COME HOME SOON CHARLES! We love and miss you!!! :'( + + + 12/5/06- I found Charles dead this morning under my deck. I can only hope it was quick and painless. It was much easier hoping he was adopted by some new, loving family, or on the road to some new adventure. Now I can only hope he is in a better place. He was such a special, special cat; one of a kind. He brought so much love and happiness to my home and life, and was the peacemaker between all my other pets. He brightened the lives of everyone who knew him. He is so missed :'(
