Arrival Story:
I worked at a pet shop that would sometimes take in cats and kittens and try to adopt them out. A couple came in with her and wanted us to take her. They found her and she had a large wound on her neck. I asked if they could take her to the vet before we took her. The wound turned out to be a bite from a dog. It has healed fine and you can't even tell it ever happened. Except she really does not like large dogs. But the pet store went under and the cats and kittens there basically had now where to go. Except my husband and I were willing to take them. That was back in 2002...

Bio:
Samantha was born in Austin, Texas. I am guessing in 2000. She came to me around Aug./Sept. of 2002. We have since moved to California with all our own cats including all our fosters. She has been around smaller dogs and as long as they respect her, she leaves them alone. She'll be fine with children as long as they do the same and treat her kindly.
