Arrival Story:
L'il Bear was found in an Ann Arbor alley with her 8 brothers and sisters, next to her dead momma. Not sure what killed momma but they were all only 2-3 weeks old, on their own in the cold and full of roundworms. They all had to be bottle fed. I personally fostered 5 of them, but fell in LOVE with L'il Bear from the moment I had her. All her siblings have been adopted out now through the Michigan Cat Rescue (whom I volunteer for), but I'm keeping her. Seems I adopt a cat a year...at this rate by the time I'm 50 I'll have 10 cats! LOL!

Bio:
L'il Bear has no idea how trying it's going to be in this househild, but there is NEVER a shortage of love and care. Lots of friends, good food and excellent medical benefits!

My Lil Bear Angel

My Lil Bear is so small and dainty! I sometimes call her Tinkerbell or Thumbelina or One Hand cuz she's so small! (pick her up with one hand still) She was the runt of her litter, but I really didn't expect her to stay so small! She's still only 5 lbs. and she turns 1 year old in two weeks! AND she is exceptionally healthy! Quite a few of her siblings have eye ailments that are chronic and they will never be 100% although they are all doing well. LB seems to be the healthiest of them all, boy did I get lucky! She's my sweet angel and is the true lap cat I always wanted one of my "girls" to be!

My brother Milagro is goign to see Dr. Degner on Monday for hsi follow-up to his surgery. I don't know why, he seems fine to me! He jsut can't catch me! TeeHee.

Thing is, I have to go see Dr. J to get my last rabies shot cuz last month I was supposed to get it but I didn't weigh enough. I hope I weigh enough now so I can get this over with! Geez! Then momma sez little ole ME has to havea surgery...something about tying the knot or such...I'm not sure what that entails, but I don't think I'm gonna like it much. Momma sez I will feel better after I heal. I guess I have to hit another weight milestone before that happens.

Momma sez I'm starting to finally "sprout"! She tells me how pretty I am all the time! I love her too! My best buddy is Milagro. I love chasing him and tumbling with him until he gets out of breath, which momma sez is bad for him...but HE started it!
