Arrival Story:
We adopted Kinsey from the Sequoia Humane Society in March 1992 as our first cat. We wanted to keep her inside but she kept us up all night one too many times and we booted her out at 3 am. She was indoors & outdoors after that and we were all happier for it.

Bio:
Kinsey was a fiesty and beautiful girl. She had a grey heart on her side and a raccoon striped tail. We loved her very much. She had her own song to the tune of Rock of Ages, Kinsey Kitty-baby cat-meow meow meow meow meow meow meow. We adopted several other cats during her lifetime and she never picked fights with them. When we had a baby she accepted that too, and used to sleep over her head like a furry hat. When we lived in an apartment bldg. on the third floor a neighbor's bully cat scared her so bad she jumped off the 3rd floor walkway, we found her an hour later standing nervously on top of our car. On November 12, 1998 I heard a crying noise and found her outside our bedroom. She came in and was panicky, crouching and walking from room to room. We found some vomit, we called the emergency line for our vet and took her right in at 2 am. She was panting and couldn't catch her breath. They tried everything but she went into cardiac arrest several hours later and died. We loved her very much, and we still miss her. Her ashes are in our backyard pet memorial.
