Arrival Story:
Mac says, "My mom adopted me when I was only six weeks old from the animal shelter almost 80 miles from our home in Southern California. She came to visit me on a Wednesday, and it was love at first sight, but she had to wait until that Friday to take me home, just in case I wasn't really abandoned by my birth family and they came looking for me. She almost had to fight one of the shelter workers for me too, because I was a very popular and handsome young man. My first vet said I looked like a little German Shepard puppy from the back because of my coat color and pattern. Mom also adopted my little sister, Grommet, at the same time. She tells me that Grommet will have her own personal Catster page too. That will be nice for her.

Bio:
Since Mom adopted me, we have lived in San Diego, Orange County, CA (where I was born) and now Texas. My sister, Grommet and I didn't much like the car ride from California to Texas, and it was wierd staying overnight in different hotel rooms - we didn't like spending so much time in our carriers and having to use those disposable litter boxes, ugh! And then, when we finally got to Texas, we had to live with our Mom's Uncle and his big Boxer Dog, Mr. Beaujangles, for five days before our house was ready! Mr. Beaujangles was nice to us, I guess, but he kept trying to get into our litter box and well, that was icky! Now we have our own nice big house, and we're settled, but we still don't like big dogs or strangers in our house.
