Arrival Story:
I was rescued from the SPCA by my mommies when I was 9 weeks old. I was is a cage with 3 other kittens, some not even from my litter, in a little room FULL of cages holding several cats and kittens to a cage. It was very noisy and I was very timid when I met my new family. They saw through my fear though, and thought I was cute, missing one of my baby canine teeth, and liked my tortie markings. They said I looked like a naughty orange kitten who went to play in the mud, and like how my face was asymetrical; one side looked like a black cat with orange marking and ther other side and orange kitten with black markings. I didn't know what "play" or "mud" was, and I wasn't sure I wanted to find out. They took me home with them and first introduced me to Sophie, who was a week younger than I. They said they wanted us to grow up together as sisters so that we didn't feel alone against the older cats. I wasn't sure I wanted to meet Sophie either, but she was so excited to meet me and after hiding in a cat tent for awhile I let her come in. She saw I didn't feel like playing much, so she laid down next to me and after I saw she wasn't going to hurt me I started to relax and went to sleep. When I woke up, she was still there, and so we grew up as sisters after all.
