The Daily Shedding

Almost...

March 25th 2008 1:54 am   [link to this entry]

So, we're almost all here.

Only one is M.I.A. at present, that being our brother Milo. He lives his life in the Great Beyond and is giving Furrless Mother fits when it comes to having his picture taken. He is protector over yard. We watch his warrior form slither past the picture window in Furrless Grandmother and Grandfather's home. He hunts. He stalks. He keeps our family safe.

My brothers, Gambit and DaVinci, they too once roamed the Great Beyond. They miss it. Great warriors in their own right and DaVinci masterful hunter and bringer of many wild food gifts - misses the thrill of the hunt. But, trips to the Bad Place (a place we all fear), has kept them confined indoors. And leashes, something they refuse to wear, though Furrless Mother has offered them up on numerous occasions.

Perhaps DaVinci should teach Furrless Mother the great art of stalking. Perhaps then she could get the Ghost Cat of The Great Beyond to sit still before her camera and say "Mices!"
