Arrival Story:
My husband and I went to the local shelter to choose a cat. It was my husband's turn to pick one, and he wanted a kitten. Three cats under the age of 1 year were in the shelter at the time, one of whom was Buttercup (7 months old). When my husband picked her up, she nestled her head under his chin, closed her eyes, and began to purr. I asked my husband if he wanted to visit with anyone else, and he said, "No, this is the cat." The shelter staff remarked about how much "she loves her daddy."
