Arrival Story:
Camilla was found on a freeway on-ramp when she was about 9 months old. My friend's daughter was kind enough to stop her car to pick her up but when she saw the state of her and the extra toes she was afraid to touch her so Camilla took charge (as usual) and hopped in the car. I was scheduled to adopt a cat the very next day to keep Marvin company (we had just lost our cat Maggie and he was lonely) but I decide to take in Camilla instead as she seemed to need me more. She was filthy, starving and covered in parasites that forced me to keep her in quarantine for 2 weeks. When she was finally able to join the family she fit right in, her and Marvin became fast friends immediately and they share a tight bond. Camilla was definitely used to fending for herself because in those first few weeks she tore into any food left out for more than a second. She's a little less worried about starving now but you still have to watch your chicken :-)

Bio:
Poor Camilla is on a diet because her body holds on to every calorie (kind of like her mom) and she's gotten quite fat. She is way too smart which makes her a little intolerant, she knows what she likes and she knows how to tell you to get it for her. She doesn't like to be held or kissed but will let you know when you need to plant yourself down on the couch so she can jump in your lap and get a good petting. She insists on knowing exactly what we bring into the house. We call her The Customs Inspector. Both Camilla and Marvin moved with their mom to Venice Italy and lived there for almost 4 years. They learned Italian much quicker than their mom.
