We had been searching for a Sphynx female and came across an ad for 3 Tica Sphynx kittens. I contacted her breeder to see if any were available. Her breeder was wonderful. We were originally set on the little tuxedo female, but she was the runt and far too small to fly all the way to Canada, so she suggested the little calico girl. We were in love :) Kabuki is all the way from Sunny Texas and will be living in Ontario Canada.
Kabuki is named after the Japanese style theater. Her breeder told us that she is a diva and a drama mama, so this name was perfect. She certainly lives up to it :)

Well my birthday is tomorrow but I am writing this today :)
I'm turning 1 year old. Mom says I don't look a day over 6 months MOL
It feels like yesterday that I was on a plane coming from a nice sunny place and then landing in a cold place with white stuff on the ground. Don't get me wrong, its a great place, but man is it cold here. Mom walks in the door with white stuff on her shoes and I high tail it for her bedroom.
Anyways, I was thinking of writing to parliament and seeing if they would make this a national holiday. We'd call it Buki day and everyone would have a day off and drink and be merry all day long. Almost like another christmas...heck, lets even make it 12 days long :)
So....Happy Buki Day to everyone and Happy Birthday to me!!

I'm 6 months old now. Mommy says I'm starting to look like a cat. I look in the mirror and just see gorgeous, not a cat. She has no idea what she is talking about.
I got a kitty cupcake today, a new shirt, bed and some bling. I'm one happy nekkid kitty :)

My TICA paperwork came in today. Mom was all excited and showed me it all, but i have no idea what it is. She mentioned something about my pedigree and my papers...but I just wanted to play with it and possibly eat some of it. She told me no, so I went back to my scratch post.
She told me that I'm going to start showing soon. I dont know what that is either, but as long as there is treats, my cat milk and my crunchies...i'm good to go :)
My former mom in Texas keeps telling my mommy here how well I will do in the show ring. I just hope mom doesnt have to prance me around on a leash like she does her dogs. She said she won't, but I still don't believe her.
She also told me that I now have an official name.
I'm now Bare to be Different Kabuki Kuki :) Wow thats long. I feel all important :)
Anyways, back to the busy life of a nekkid kitty
