I was bought from a pet story as a kitten. My Mom was in college and missed have a pet around. She had always had a dog, but that wasn't an option, so she decided to get a cat...a long haired, white cat. haha! So she and her buddies drove to 5 different pet stores in search of a white kitten. They found lots of kittens, but no white ones. Then they came to my pet store. There they found 10 white kittens and 2 orange kittens. All of Mom's friends were thrilled...finally white kittens! Well I had other plans. I was not going to be passed up. I knew a good home when I saw it. So, I made a really loud scene and got her attention. She picked me up, I worked my magic and she forgot all about wanting a white cat. Her friends were not amused...but they got over it. :)

Wow, I'm running around like a kitten these days. Catster is getting larger and larger everyday and I'm running around checking in with all my groups/pals. I'm gonna need to start taking the taxi cat! whew!
I have an adopted kitten named Oreo that I am taking care of. Plus I'm growing catnip in my All FUR Fun garden. Busy! I also have to practice my fishing technics for the All FUR Fun fishing tournament. That's a biggy! I love fishies. Yum!
But with all this activity...time fur a nap!

This week's quote is:
"Cat's motto: No matter what you've done wrong, always try to make it look like the dog did it"
It's an interesting thought, but this quote assumes that I do things wrong. I have pretty much aged to purr-fection, like a fine wine, so this isn't really applicable. But if I remember back to kittenhood, this would have been very useful then. Hmm...and I know exactly which pup I could have blamed...

Since I'm an old farte, I love to spend most of my days laying in a sunny window napping and pondering life and the world. I want to share some of my thoughts with all of you furs here. So once a week, I will try to add a new kitty quote here to shine light on just how important us cats are.
My first quote is especially true...
"Who among us hasn't envied a cat's ability to ignore the cares of daily life and to relax completely?" by Karen Brademeyer
This quote is especially important! To many times our human families take life to seriously. We need to show them the important things in life...relax and enjoy just being. Life goes by too fast otherwise. So whenever possible nap in front of your families so that they can hopefully see the importance of ignoring the troubles of daily life and relaxing completely.
