Arrival Story:
Sophie picked me at the San Francisco SPCA. I was looking for a cat to adopt and when I got to her she not only let me pick her up but cuddled against me. We've been together for 10.5 years now!
Bio:
Sophie had been on the streets for a while, her fur was matted, she was missing fur on her front paws, and she only weighed about five or six pounds. She was picked up by San Francisco Animal Control, and was then rescued by the SF SPCA, which is a no-kill shelter. While she was either lost or abandoned she was probably treated well by whomever had her before because she's never been anti-social with people and never hides. She was, however, an only cat for many years and has only somewhat adapted to her more recent living situation where she has other kitty roommates.

My human companion left me for 10 days while she went on vacation to Burning Man in Nevada. While she was away I did my usual: slept a lot. I also decided to be nice to my other kitty rommates, Jenny Rose, Zack, and Spike. I spent time in my companion's room away from the other cats and so that I could get some quality sleep on a nice soft bed. It was also warm in there, an added bonus.
