Arrival Story: Well, it is me....Victor Gibbs...
Finally I have
scored a forever home!! Bush living
is fine for bugs but not for little kitties,
I think! I much prefer a real home with
a roof over my head and food in the food dish
and clean water in a real water bowl..not
to mention a real bathroom with a human
mommie to clean up after me! WOW WEE.
Anyhow, I was hanging out at some Retirement
Center in town....it was ok but I had to dodge
big dogs and lots of those metal loud things
the humans call 'cars'....people were always
going in and out of this Retirement Center
but no one every paid attention to my tiny
meows from the bushes....I was there for
a long time and it was cold and wet and windy.
Then one day this woman walked by....I looked
at her and she looked at me and I ran away
quickly...I saw her pause and then get into that
car thing and leave. The next day she was
back....I checked her out and she looked so sad.
I could sort of read her mind and she was crying
inside over the loss of her two baby furfaces.
I felt sorry for her. I saw her getting ready to climb
into her metal thing....so I mewed sort of loud.
She looked up and saw me...our eyes locked....I was
so far away she looked like she was about an inch
tall.....umm...I thought....a tiny human...how could
she take care of me?? Well, anyhow, I saw her
bend down and heard her say "here kitty kitty"......
goodness,
someone actually heard my tiny meows and was
speaking to ME!! ME!!! So, I ran so fast to her and she
got bigger and bigger as I ran....maybe she is not
as small as I first thought.....anyway, she must be
a little weird because she was talking into some
silver thing attached to her hand...she was talking
about a white 'thing' running towards her and she
was afraid......the silver thing told her not to be afraid
but see what the 'thing' was.....I ran to her and purred
real loud...then I put my paw on her knee....then I fell
over and showed her my lovely tummy which she promptly
rubbed....then I heard her say what should she do with
the 'white' thing?? So, I immediately jumped up and put
both my paws around her neck, and mewed to her: "Please
don't leave me in these cold bushes again....PLEASE"....
the silver thing told her to scoop me up and take me
to something called a vet. So, she did, and they looked
me over and said I was well except for some fleas
and some ear mites......they fixed those and, friends,
I am in a happy home with a real bed and all the love
a white kitty could want....my forever home wanted
ME! ME! A throw away kitty left to die beside
a Retirement Center in the cold with snow flurries
all around!! But, I showed them!! I didn't die and now
I have a REAL mommie and daddy who saved me
and who need me because I heard them talking
about two Angel Kitties named Buddie and McKenna
that they miss more than words can say. I promise
I will NOT take their place in their hearts but find
my own place in there.....that is my mission this
week.....and I am sure I will accomplish it!! After
all, just a few days ago I was a bush baby and look
at me now!! A LOVE MUFFIN WHO HAS A FOREVER
HOME!!! WOW...LIFE IS GOOD!!
I love it here in CatsterLand!! This is going
to be a good life!! I can tell............

Hello Furfriends,
My purpose in life....ahhh....my purpose in life is
very simple....my purpose in life is to keep my
Mother clean and happy.....I wake her up in the
morning sort of early...around four or so....with soft
licks on her hand..then when she does not move, I
softly lick her arm.....when that does not work, I
take out the big guns...I place my paws on her eyes...
both of them....then one of my paws will quickly move to her
mouth when she opens it to tell me to move my
paws off her eyes!! heheehhe I wish you guys could
see her...she looks so funny....sort of confused looking.
I have to tell you that these early morning bonding times
really enhance my standing in Mother's eyes...I can hear her
each day telling Father on the phone when he gets to work.....
She says: He did it again..yes, four in the morning..paws in my eyes and then in my mouth....goodness, I need sleep....I need it badly!!!
Heheheeh......I know she tells him all this with such a loving
tone in her voice.....because she giggles...and giggles mean love, right, my furfriends? If so, I have LOTS of her love--especially at FOUR in the morning!!!!

I have been tagged by my Far Away Furfriend
Johnie (#1042618)...thank you!
The Five Things I am Most Thankful for This Year are:
1. That I am loved and cared for.
2. That I have a Mother that I love more than catnip.
3. That I have a Mother that loves ME more than catnip.
4. That I have a Father that is not jealous and who loves me.
5. That I have a neat little brother who loves me.
('Love' is my Thankful Subject this year)
So those are my five Thankful things in life for this year.
I will think about who I am going to tag and get Mother
to add to this shortly!
Thank you, Johnie!!

Uncle Angel Calvin sent such a nice prezzie
from Kitty Heaven for Little Brother Cash,
Jason Cash, and me. He is so thoughtful
and we miss him and love him very much.
I know he has a special place in his heart
for Little Brother Cash, Jason Cash, because
Little Cash is a orangie like Uncle Angel Calvin...
BUT, I do have some orange on me....not all
over but enough to be loved by Uncle Angel
Calvin. He is as thoughtful in Kitty
Heaven as he was on Earth....thank you!
